Huntsville, Ala. – Aviation & Missile Solutions (AMS) marked the official transition to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) on July 1, 2024. This significant milestone represents an unwavering commitment to our employees and marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for our organization.
What is an ESOP?
An Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a retirement plan that provides employees with an ownership stake in the company. Through this unique structure, employees become shareholders, aligning their interests with the success and growth of the AMS organization.
AMS is a proud member of the Southeast chapter of The ESOP Association, an organization made up of more than 190 ESOP companies and professional service providers.
Marking the Occasion
Employees marked the occasion with a barbecue and cornhole tournament in conjunction with the Fourth of July holiday. It was a fantastic opportunity for our employees to connect with one another outside of the work environment and come together to celebrate the launch of our ESOP as well as the Fourth of July. Each employee was gifted a commemorative item and enjoyed good food and a celebratory cake to end the day.
